If you want tacos done the right way, then this place is for you! I tried the tacos de carne asada, lingual, carnitas and pastor and they were incredible! Fast and convenient.
Yum yum in my tum!! I love it, kids love it and we can't wait to go back. The new building is a nice touch!
Tacos are good but dont have hand made tortillas 9/10 Horchata wad a 8/10 Location is great Service also was great! The lady bagging our sauces and tacos was supper sweet!
The tripa tacos were perfectly crispy on the outside and softer on the inside. The lengua has great flavor. The horchata was good and Jamaica not too sweet. Everything is seasoned very well and tastes super good. The avocado green salsa had good flavor.
This place is my favorite on planet earth. I wrote their first review on here and this won't be my last visit. Just wanted to give an update that they're still killing it and the food is as magical as ever. Order the carnitas. Thank me later.
I just moved to Portland from the Bay Area (the mecca of Mexican food aside from maybe Sam Diego area) and was not expecting great Mexican food up north. El Taco Melon single handedly restored my faith in Mexican food. I ordered very simple street tacos & my partner had the burrito. Both were excellent and had us eating the leftover salsa at home days later. 100% will be back when in the Salem area again!
